One of the legends of surf lifesaving. Winner of Australia's 1st Ironman competition in 1966. Developed the first surfboard shop/factory on the Sunshine Coast. Rescue crewman for over 20 years with the Sunshine Coast Helicopter Rescue Service. Hayden is the father of Grant Kenny.

Legalities
1. Programme Organisers
The organising committee is the manager of the Programme, and Conference Magic is the organiser of the Programme facilities and co-ordinator of accommodation arrangements for participants and accompanying persons; and are jointly referred to as ‘the organisers’
2. Prices
Prices are subject to change without notice in the event of increases in accommodation or other charges, or change in government taxes.
3. Amendment, Cancellation, Refunds and Substitution
The Programme content and speaker selection may be altered at the discretion of the Organisers. If the Programme is cancelled, a refund of monies paid less administrative cost shall be full and final settlement of any claim against the Organisers. There are three workshops at the conference and each will be repeated. While every endeavour will be made to allocate the workshop times of choice this will not necessarily be possible. Please check registration acknowledgement for allocated times. Cancellations must be made to Denby Collinge by phone on 02 9481 7650 and followed up in writing. No refunds will be made after 1 September 2008, but registration is transferable. Substitution of participants and accompanying persons is acceptable.
4. Responsibilities
The Organisers act only as the agent of the several entities providing service in all matters of transportation and accommodation and other services associated with the Programme. All receipts, tickets and vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions under which they are issued. To the extent permitted by law, neither the Organisers nor any of their agents assume any responsibility for any
loss, accident, death, damage, delay or irregularity that may be caused to person or property, howsoever caused or arising during any travel in connection with the Programme, or during any activity associated with the Programme or the Programme itself.
5. Carriers and Accommodation
The Organisers reserve the right to change any carrier or to provide alternative accommodation at their discretion.
6. Exclusion of Liability
The Organisers do not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts or ommissions or defaults, whether negligent orotherwise, of any airline, bus or ferry operator, hotelier or other person or party providing services in connection with the Programme. The Organisers do not accept liability for any injury, damage, theft, loss, delay, additional expense, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by
force majeure, or war, civil disturbance, act of terrorism, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, Act of God, acts of governments or other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action.
